Koko really enjoyed this theme. He would get his totboxes down randomly during the day and just work (read play, LOL). He is forever asking for his “cool tuff”, ie school stuff. Its so cute to see him so engaged in his own school “work”. He loves it.

Here are just a few photos of him from this week

My post is super late this week *blush* We have been so busy with our Dinosaur theme that I haven’t had a chance to blog much, LOL.

Here are our tot boxes for the week.
Monday
D is for Dinosaur Totbook. I made this totbook with files that I got from 1+1+1=1’s Dinosaur Train totbook and Dinosaur ideas from Confessions of a Homeschooler

Tuesday
Dinosaur sequencing. Koko HATED this, he took one look at it and got up, LOL. I’ll keep putting these types of activities in his boxes. He’ll want to do them eventually. The dinosaurs in the box are part of the Dinosaur Train totbook from 1+1+1=1 and the orange dinosaur sequencing game is from File Folder Fun

Wednesday
Dinosaur threading sheet that I got from Confessions of a Homeschooler

Thursday

Preserving Children

Posted on March 10th, 2010 in Poem by jolenecmom

Take one large grassy field,
1/2 dozen children, 3 small dogs,
and walk along a narrow strip of brook, pebbly if possible.
Mix the children with dogs and empty them into field,
stirring constantly.
Sprinkle the entire with daisies and buttercups,
pour brook gently over pebbles,
cover all with a deep blue sky
and bake in hot sun for several hours.
When the children are thoroughly browned,
they may be removed.
They will be found right and ready
for setting away to cool in the bathtub.

Tot School
~Koko is 35 months old~

This week we are working on colours and shapes.

I downloaded the Primary Colors Tot Book from Musings of a Rocker Mom blog. Koko absolutely had a blast with it.

After working on his tot book (he spent an hour on it and LOVED it), he played with his connectors. He first made multi coloured squares and then make 6 squares of different colours. He spent ages playing with these.
